Peperoni Pizza

Been a while since I last stepped foot into Suntec City, as the mall was undergoing renovation. Was wandering around for a dinner place after work and found this pizza place! It's at the fountain area, when the restaurants are all around the circle.

Address: 3 Temasek Boulevard #B1-130

The pizza place is called, Peperoni Pizza. Had no idea why though haha. But nice ambience and I liked the interior of the restaurant ;)

That's the menu if you're wondering :P
"All we knead is LOVE"
Are you?

Our yummylicious pizza! :) We ordered the medium size to share for 2 pax, about $24. And yes, you can customise it, ours was half-seafood, the other I can't remember :x

And the best thing of all,

when we called for the bill...

We realised there's no GST or service charge! YAY! :)

Gone Too Soon, Too Young

Glee, a TV series that I have been faithfully watching since season 1. Love their covers for some songs, in I think was better than the original!

Imagine my shock when I chanced upon news that the actor, Cory Monteith, who played the well-known Finn Hudson in the Glee TV series, that he was dead.

Certainly, I thought or wished that it was an evil prank. Afterall, he is a rising star, only 31 years old and a future ahead of him. A future with his girlfriend, Lea Michele, who happens to be Rachel Berry in Glee as well.

The sad news announcement and all news of his death plastered across all the online/offline media.

RIP Cory, you'll be missed! Glee will never be the same again without you.

So sad, rumours are that they should be getting married soon and yet she's preparing for his funeral :,(

Guess life is really unpredictable, one can never predict what is gonna happen next.
Cherish the present!

Entering the Working World

Started work last month, on the 13th May. Been nearly a month already. I missed lazing around at home and waking up in the noon. :x Oh well, but at least now I do have income ;)

Honestly speaking, I do miss school - especially my friends! :,( It's so different now, I have tonnes of photos that are still sitting in my camera/laptop wailing to be uploaded. Hahaha. Soon soon! How time passes by when you started working. I end work about 5.30 or 6pm, depending on what time I reach. So, by the time I reached home, have dinner, a shower etc, it will be at least 8 plus? And checking some mails plus some surfing the net and then it's time for bed. Can't afford to sleep too late now. Total change of my sleeping habits, from going to bed in the wee hours, now I aim to sleep by 12 midnight or latest before 1am. Then, the whole cycle of waking up early for work starts again.

Do enjoy school while you still can! :) Tata~ I will update real soon. *cross fingers*

Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant

Had relatives' lunch gathering at the restaurant on Sunday. What a major TOTAL disappointment for every one of us, twelve of us to be exact. Our virgin time there proved to be our final time too.

We should have heed the ratings and reviews on HungryGoWhere.com. It is bad, utterly bad. With less than 50% positive ratings and reviews. We wanna play nice and gave them a chance to prove us wrong, in which they failed to do so.

The table which we sat at. Initial impression was that it was really cramped, especially at my side, which is faced against the wall. Should I need to use the washroom, at least four people have to move aside. Oh gawd. Why got such poor table layouts? >:(

The view from the room behind us. Not from our table definitely. We thought that despite the bad reviews online, we will just take it with a pinch of salt and perhaps enjoy the 'beautiful' scenery, or so that's what my aunt thought.

Okay, so their way of pouring the water into the cup with tea leaves already present was quite 'unique' in some sense hur? Haha. But my all relatives of my parents' generation were complaining about it. WHY? Because the water wasn't HOT at all. Which makes the tea less enjoyable and the aroma of the tea can hardly even be tasted. Gosh.

Okay, pictures of some dishes. Could not be bothered to take all the dishes, probably because I am suffering from one of the dishes, it was so awful I nearly died.
Okay, here are some my comments. Firstly, the xiaolongbao I felt was average only, I would prefer Din Tai Feng's version any time. The rest of the dishes were soso. Not that they're exceptionally good that I actually remembered. But the one at the bottom right, that one was the ultimate bad to my liking. It's supposed to be some sort of dish with fish. It was spicy, weird kind. Then I took a slice of the fish and ate it. While chewing, I chewed upon something, it was HORRIBLE. I had no idea what was that! It seemed like a chili seed but much much worse. It's like wasabi mixed with all sorts of things. So disgusting that I drank lots of water and only took one mouthful. :/
Sigh, the dirty tables and plates after countless dishes and no effort was made to change our plates.

:( :( :(

This is the first time I have experienced such bad service at a restaurant. I've sent them a feedback, well hope they will make some improvements. Click to read about it.

The End of School

Well well, done with my last exam just a week ago. I have unofficially graduated from SMU!
Okay, this basically sums up the feeling of what 'exams are over' means. And also traveling!
Everything felt so surreal. Suddenly, having 'nothing' to do for school. To think that a year ago, we were all busy chionging FYP.

As my room was a 'little' messy due to studying for exams and I had no time to properly organise my stuffs, decided to do so after exams :p

Also, cleared some forgotten old toys from my childhood from a hidden compartment. And ohmygosh, I really have tonnes of old stuffs hahahaha. Guess all the while I didn't bother to throw them away cos felt that it was a waste and that those stuffs somehow reminded us of our childhood, the toys that we used to play with. Since I have space at home, I'm just to lazy to throw them. Hahaha. Nostalgic!

But before I throw away some of the toys, decided to snap some pictures :D For memory sake and also to show the future generations these are the toys that we 90s kids have played with, not just some iPad games >_<

Okay, this is the Pokemon Centre, there's supposed to be some small figurines but not sure where is it already. :x I used to be a fan of Pokemon, hahaha. I swear at that tender age, I could remember the first breed of Pokemon, 152 of them! After a while, more and more monsters were added and I couldn't bothered. :p

Polly Pocket! My first ever 'house' that I've gotten. Kept it for so many years because it's from my Dad when I was in the hospital. Memoriessss. He bought it to cheer me up I guess. :,(

Okay, these two are the big toys hahaha. I used to have a train kit, where you can build the tracks and the train will run on them through batteries. And I used to have lots of small cars too. So boyish of me. But those were threw/given away long time ago!

The rest of them aren't exactly toys but games. Hahaha, I realised that I'm a huge fan of board games or whatever in the past. I have alot of them because last time, I would have many relatives visiting my Grandma and she had lots of great grandkids! Ever since she left us, they don't visit anymore. :/ Prolly cos my Dad is considered the youngest in the family tree, oh well.

Next, believe it or not, I actually have some word games :p
Didn't really play the word games often haha. Some were actually gifts. I think I just really like to collect games when I was young. Don't judge! Last time no iPad games okay! >:(

Truth or Dare? Jenga style! In the end, I will just end up playing it as the UNO Stacko instead. :p

Some UNO card game? I know they have alot of variations right. I think for this, there's a button in the middle (the UNO button), which will keep beeping or something. Like you have no idea when is it gonna explode? Hahaha. If I didn't remember wrongly, every time you finished your turn, you're supposed to slam the button. LOL, if it explodes then you gotta draw more cards? Can't really recall the rules, been ages ago. Think the game is called UNO Slam. :O
Oh dear, such a fan of Board Games. ヅヅ Missed those times where my 4th Aunt would usually drop by my house and we would play together. Maybe I might keep/give away some, in case should some kids come over next time. But the thing is, since young, I usually hate it if people touches my stuffs or the tiny pieces of the board game go missing if I let someone play with it. >_<""

Errmmmmm. My cooking set? Hahaha. So cute right. Got hamburgers, patty, cheese, wok, hotdogs etc.
I used to imagine how great a cook I am, but too bad that's not the case now. :P

My figurines hahaha. Didn't know I still had it stuffed away in a tied up bag. It's like discovering some old hidden treasures of your old self. How I love Pokemon in the past. :x

A Jay Chou fanatic since young. :x I remembered vividly I used to pre-order his upcoming albums, as I would get free freebies! Such as posters/calendars etc. Then, upon the 1st day or so of the release, I would rushed down to the cd store which I pre-ordered from to collect it and I would so elated. Oh gosh, those cd days. :,)

My Hello Kitties! These were from the MacDonald's Hello Kitty Craze many years back. I'm not a fan of Hello Kitty. But I remembered my neighbours/relatives went to actually queue and shun bian got one for me too. Hahaha. Those were the days where people were much kinder and help one another.

The last picture of the day! Coloured sticks! We used to play this when we were young in the 90s. ;)

Memoriessssss. Back then when we were so young and carefree~
So, what are some of your childhood hobbies? :)

Last Moments of School

Today is the last week of school for me, except for one upcoming presentation next Monday. Seeing all the posts about graduating peeps regarding their last lessons certainly reminds me that time indeed passed by fast. It has been nearly four years in SMU and soon, I am about to leave this phase of life behind where I have gotten used to, to embark on another new phase in life.

Goodbye School!
A piece of good news, I am officially employed! :) Signed the contract on Monday, and while I was on the way home, in the bus, I received a surprised phone call from E&Y. -___-
Too bad, E&Y took a long time to get back to me, which I eventually gave up on them. Hahaha. I was told they would get back to me within a month, but they took double of it. Oh well.
Moral of the story: Do not make your job applicants wait too long. :P

Snippets of School + Food + Randoms!

I'm so gonna miss eating Sushi Express near my school.
Cheap sushi for $1.50/plate! :,(

Yummy, one can never go wrong with Sushi! Or Sashimi! :D But the slices of the salmon sashimi in  Sushi Express are getting smaller and smaller than before. >:(

With my bestie! :D And our Biotech Professor! See the huge lineup of containers?
Free Sal Happy for us! :P We're the first in the queue :x
First time trying it, despite it has been there for more than a year or so? :p
It's all about eating healthy! ãƒ„

Pasta in a Box!

This is mine, it tasted alright. Given the price of <$10, can't expect too much right? Well, at least it is fast, if you're starving and do not want to wait too long :p
Gets a little too creamy for me towards the end.

Strawberry Shortcake Milkshake
7 KICKstart BREWiches
50 Armenian Street #01-02 Wilmer Place
Singapore, Singapore 179938

Placed an order for Strawberry Shortcake before realising that it's actually a Milkshake. Gosh, how blur I am :( Cos was thinking of having a cake for lunch as I'm still feeling full from the breakfast earlier. And yay my bestie, Rebecca, shared with me her order above!
And I shared with her my milkshake too hahahaha. ✌

Gonna miss this hidden gem place, near the SMU school of accountancy!

Hello Bear!
Me with the hugeass bear! Spotted at Giant IMM for only $70 hahaha. Gonna be such a prank if anyone receives it :p Then must hug it back home, by taking a cab probably!

Phantom of the Opera is Back Again!

Yes, Phantom of the Opera musical is back in Singapore again! :)

I went it to see it in 2007 when they came, it was awesome! It was at Esplanade the previous time, and I was sitting in the front rows directly in front of the stage! :D Now, they changed the location to Marina Bay Sands, hopefully it's better haha.

Pondering whether to watch again now that it's back haha. Or perhaps I should save my $$ and wait for other awesome musicals to watch. Hmmm.

Ticket Price (excluding booking fee)
S$55, $95, $125, $145, $165, $230 - VIP (includes drink and program)

Anyway, for Mastercard holders, great news for you peeps! (Book before 3rd April)
There is 15% discount of the ticket price! Super worth it!

Okay, shall give it some thought over the weekends! :x

Hello Week 11!

In a flash, it's week 11 already! ;( Few more weeks before I say BYE BYE to school officially. I think I will miss school dearly.

Almost 2am now, my body clock is screwed. Don't know why, but sometimes I prefer doing work during late nights, cos that's the quietest time you can ever have. No construction, no loud noises from the surroundings or people shouting. Easier to concentrate haha, but then after a while, the sleepy bug starts to kick in. :/

To those that are struggling with projects/presentations, hang in there! The term is almost over! I am having two presentations this week and another one in week 13, almost.....

That's right! Hang in there!
On a side note, thinking about going for a graduation trip, probably somewhere in Asia. :x Would love to go to Europe, but plane tickets are expensiveeeeee. Maybe next time, when I save up some money haha. I wanna travel all around Europe! (My bucket list).

Foodies this week!
Fuwa Fuwa
The top layer was made from egg I think, it felt soft and spongy. So fluffy kind of feeling! Dug inside and it's rice + mushrooms + some meats.. The only thing I liked was the top fluffy layer :x

Pancake Matcha Ogura
Dessert was alright, the downside was that the ice-cream melted reallyyyy fast. Probably it wasn't 'frozen' enough cos it's not supposed to melt that fast. Especially in an air-conditioned place. :/

Location:
68 Orchard Road
#03-84 Plaza Singapura
Tel: 63383277

Alright, time for me to hit the sheets. Goodnight!

Just some sashimi love for dinner! <3 Really value for money and fresh! it's like a mart, where you can choose the slice of the sashimi/seafood etc for either dine-in/takeaway. They sliced it up for you with no extra service charge. Best place to get cheap sashimi! :D

Definitely going there again! :) Hope they open up a branch near to my house please ;(

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday to the Best Dad in the world!

Mini Hotpot!

Had mini hotpot for lunch! It's located at Chinatown, People's Park Complex 2nd level, #02-71. Like some hidden gem! Didn't even know there's much food places in People's Park Complex, mostly are shops and tour agencies etc etc haha. But not good, cheap and good! Really value for $$$. Mine is pork meat + all the side dishes and an egg, with tom yam soup and a bowl of rice. :x All for $5.50! :O I think for beef it's a dollar more expensive but still cheap! Would totally settle for this instead of food court, might be even cheaper than food court! And they refilled the soup base for free too hahaha. :D

In the end, we ate for like 2 hours?? Haha, plus chitchatting and all :p

Happy Valentine's Day to All!

Had classes on Vday as usual haha. My morning class ended slightly earlier and while strolling through the concourse, we grabbed a couple of free goodies :p

Coach + Photobooth + Flower!
With my bestie in school!
Free coach giveaways, we just have to pose with a coach bag that was present there and we have a free gift! It in hot pink colour and there's a mirror! :D Can double up as a luggage tag as well! They even have free gifts for guys as well should you pose for a picture with their coach bags, I think it's a keychain for guys ;)

Free gift from Coach on Vday! :D
After my afternoon class and spending some time in school to do work while waiting for my dinner date, went to 'The Star Vista' mall for dinner. It's mad crowded! Every restaurant was packed full and long queues like a snake! So in the end, we just chose the relatively shorter queue (still long!).

The Star Vista
Dinner place on Vday!
My bowl of Ramen! :D

I love Gyoza!! :p

After dinner, explored around The Star Vista as it's the first time there :P The mall has no air-con, it's the first naturally cooled mall, only air-con is present in the individual shops but not the walkway. Interesting haha, and I kinda like the design of the building. Looks futuristic kind haha.

Okay, now for all things RED.

Heart-shaped box of Fortune Cookies + Reese Peanut Chocolates! :)
Red Velvet Cake in a Jar!
Pretty flowers thank you! ^_^
Domo
